About Cockaigne Resort
Cockaigne has a long-standing history as one of the first Ski Resorts in the area. Cockaigne began its operations in Cherry Creek, NY in the winter of 1966. The famous ski lodge was built as the Austrian Pavilion for the World’s fair in New York City in 1964 and then moved to Cockaigne Resort in Cherry Creek, NY in 1966. It operated until a devastating fire in 2011 completely destroying the beloved and iconic pavilion. In 2018 the Lodge you see now was established. When you book with us you're not just getting a venue, you're booking a place with long standing tradition, family values, cherished memories, and a community of amazing people!
